Land Surveying is one of the oldest professions in the United States and the world. There have been four presidents considered Surveyors, and by coincidence, have been carved into Mount Rushmore. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt (debated). Land Surveying is an ever changing industry. From, the early days of surveying in a suit and using chains, to using a total station and wearing a reflective safety vest. Methods of surveying and type of equipment are evolving with the times. These factors make the profession very exciting. Every project is the same yet different. Thank you for your time.
